Quality time.
Saturday we where all able to get together for some quality time at old home days. Sarah had her traditional pony ride, we walked around town enjoying all of the festivities visiting with friend and family. Dan and Jen prepared a very good BBQ for us (thank you guys). Jim joined us after work and Denny after his car show. Everyone made it in time for the parade and by the end of the parade Sarah had several zip lock bags full of candy which she graciously shared with the little girl behind us.
Sunday Jen, Sarah and I made a trip to the outlet mall to go school clothes shopping. Jen and I had alot of fun, Sarah on the other hand had no problem expressing her boredom, wanting to go back to grandpa and grandma's to be able to play with gunner. It was alot of fun and I enjoyed being able to share in the experience.

Playing in the dirt.
Friday we made our annual trip to Black Rock for the NASCAR/ ASC Sprint racing. It rained all the way there and all the way home but stayed dry for the racing. Toni Stewart made an appearance again this year along with three other NASCAR guys and six crew members. Toni pulled his own sprint car to NY from Indiana to race with the ASC guys. Denny works with one of the ASC guys and knows two more. It is always alot more fun when you know the racers. We visited with some old friends and made some new ones while we where there. The fifty/fifty total was over $2,600.00 and was won by the retired gentleman that sat behind us, oh so close.

A bit busy.
It has been a bit busy here between the lakes. Denny was diagnosed with pneumonia two weeks ago totally out of the blue, no cold no nothing. He just came down with a fever of 103 then started having trouble breathing. We ended up in the ER where he got the diagnosis. They talked about admitting him but he agreed to take it easy and so he got to come home. He got to OK to go back to work just this past Monday. This past weekend we went to visit some of my old friend from high school that where in town for alumni weekend. We had a lot of fun and I want to thank Lugene for the hospitality the food was great and the company awesome. This seems to be reunion summer, I got to visit with some of my old classmates that I had not seen in 29 years. Monday was my turn to take a visit to the ER for chest pressure. I ended up staying a couple of days and had a bunch of test run and so far so good. I am so glad to be home but can't go back to work for a few more days and going stir crazy. Well here is hoping for a quieter week.
