Goodbye Miss Madison.

There is very sad news to share with you all. Our sweet Madison was hit and died this past Saturday. I am told that she was having a good time playing with Gunner just before it happened and that she didn't suffer, it was over in an instant. It has been a few days now and the shock is starting to wearing off . Anyone who met her would agree that she was full of love, affection and energy. She was a very good puppy and brought me much joy. She is missed.

Where are my snowpants !!!!!

As if I needed to say it we have snow here between the lakes, about 14 inches as I type. Poor Madison tried to play outside with Gunner and just couldn't take it. She was out playing for about 15 minuets and started shaking so Denny brought her in for a warm bath. What a life.

Home safe and sound.

Melissa is home after what seems like a very long deployment to Iraq. We are looking forward to a long and most likely tearful reunion with her this afternoon. Thank you Melissa and to everyone who serves our county and protects our freedom.

Thanksgiving.

It was a very good thanksgiving, we spent time with both the Strickland/Foote and Sandifur families. Both dinners where very good and we ate too much. Black Friday Sarah, Jen, Mom and I hit the stores in search of the perfect gifts. We had alot of fun especially now that Sarah is old enough to enjoy shopping. Of course Sarah got a present for being so good during our shopping spree. She is now the proud owner of a new petshop pet. I don't completely understand how it works but the stuffed toy can interact as a virtual pet at a special website. Sarah was very excited so it must be a big deal. Friday night we spent some quality time with Ericka, Holly and Denny's brother we enjoyed our time with them and look forward to seeing them again soon.
