A piece of Syvertsen history.

Denny and I went and picked up the Victorian etagere that had been in the family for a very long time. Tom and Cyndy are getting ready for the impending move and are downsizing, so it is on to Ovid for the piece. If I am understanding the history correctly it belonged to Grandma Welch. It is a very nice piece, Tom tells me that there was more than one antique dealer that showed interest in it during their moving sale. For the record it is not going anywhere. We visited with Ericka for a few minuets while we where there, is was good to see her.

After we left them Denny and I ventured down the the Cortland County Fair to watch the open horse show. It was very nice to see some of the old "horse friends". It brought back alot of good memories as well as allowing us to spend some quality time with Mom and Jimmy.

Speaking of quality time Sarah came to spend some time with us this past weekend. We had a blast with her. She was busy playing with Gunner, hop scotch, riding her trike and working on her sticker learning book. On Sunday the weather wasn't so good so we did more indoor activities. She learned how to sew, her first project was an Eeyore pillow.
